About BPM

Branden Burns has over 19 years of aquatic experience and has worked full time in recreation and public health in many capacitied such as Recreation Superintendent, Aquatics & Camps Manager, etc. He is a product of Ohio University where he completed his undergrad in Management and Master’s in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance.  Branden also serves as a subject matter expert in lifeguarding and water safety for the American Red Cross.  He served on the 2017 Lifeguard Training Review Team and continues to serve as a Lifeguarding and Water Safety Instructor Trainer Educator.  He is heavily involved with USA Swimming, where he serves as a National Deck official, board of director member for Lake Erie Swimming and a member of the National Operations Risk committee. On many occasions, Branden has been an expert witness in aquatic litigation for both plaintiff and defense cases.

Aquatics has been a lifelong passion of his and Branden enjoys helping others be safe in, on, and around the water.
